Clooney & Caw Learning Centre

At the C&C learning school I volunteer each summer teaching on a one-to-one basis and also instructing groups of both children and adults (Up to 20 per class) who have learning disabilities. I was also involved in tutoring children for acting/drama classes and was a camp counselor when we took children for weekend trips camping.

Northern Ireland Railways (Current employer)

Currently working as a railway conductor I am in charge of the inner operations of a train while in transit, including all passengers, staff and maintenance. I ensure all passengers are comfortable and safe whilst assuring that the train is on schedule & all safety procedures are complied with.

I am well educated in higher-level education (G.C.S.E & A.S Level) and also received the level of ‘A’ (Top Grade) in my TEFL/TESOL 150 Hour Master Course. I am proficient in web development, Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), skilled with music production software (Logic/Ableton) and I have the ability to work with several operating systems including Windows and Mac OSX.

I have presented customizable e-commerce and web publishing packages in workshops and seminars and also carried out presentations in schools. I have a vast experience in schooling young children in extra-curricular activities such as story writing competitions, fly-fishing lessons and coaching the children’s football and running teams.

I am a keen traveller with extensive experience in Europe, South America, Australia and more recently I have travelled expansively in Mainland China. I fell in love with the people and the culture of China and I am really excited at the prospect of returning to start a new life as a teacher there.
