Associate Member, Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies: participated in projects like the KQ&K Program, which assists elementary students with English and Math homework through the Institute, as well as organized and coordinated a campus wide fish fry to perpetuate the Institute’s influence on campus (Spring 2012, Spring 2014)) In addition, helped cleaned up trash alongside the highway for the Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies Adopt-a-Highway (Spring 2014)

Event Programmer, Freewheelin’ Community Bikes, Indianapolis, IN (Summer 2012):  Programmed education for youth in bike mechanics, safe-riding, life and leadership skills; hosted sponsored bike races, raising over $14,000

Wabash College Student Researcher, Student Retention (Spring 2013, Spring 2014): 

The purpose of    Student Focus Group Leaders is to acquire a better understanding of the views and concerns of Latino and African‐American freshmen at Wabash.  Note taker focused on the groups and recorded the conversation & asked questions if needed to get any clarity from the interviewee.  Also, I have served as a moderator in which required me to ask questions about their Wabash experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
