· Improved all aspects of my ESL teaching ability, including: classroom management, achievement of goals, lesson planning, worksheet production, follow-up teaching and increased variation of teaching styles. 

· Worked with students ranging in age from two and a half years old to thirteen years old. This has enabled me to develop different teaching methodologies for effectively teaching in different environments.

· Displayed not only an ability to learn, but to learn quickly. Part of what facilitates my continual self-improvement is my desire to observe my colleagues, to talk to them and to absorb the best parts of their teaching styles.

· Displayed a great willingness and capability to work as part of a team. I am active and vocal participant in departmental meetings, always willing to offer and ask for constructive criticism, help plan workplace activities, demonstrate teaching techniques and conduct teacher training. I recommended and implemented a new system of sharing that pooled the resources of the teachers to give each individual access to more teaching materials.

· A positive force for my school; often cited as the main reason parents are willing to commit their child to the school and I have achieved excellent test scores and contract renewal rates for which I have been commended by my manager.

· Planned and conducted English Corner activities at the Anhui Provincial Library.

I held a position in retail during my time at university. In my capacity as general assistant I was tasked with providing excellent service to members of the public, which I received high marks for doing so.

 Interests

My interests include reading (fiction, history, ancient literature and popular science), music, domestic and global affairs, and travelling. Although I have enjoyed spending time in some Chinese cities such as Shanghai, it is travelling to scenic landscapes that I particularly enjoy. My fondest memories of travelling in China have been of hiking at Yellow Mountain and cycling during the lush summer in Guangxi Province. I relish the freedom that every holiday brings.
