September 2013 – August 2014 Handan Foreign Language School

English teacher of students aged 14

This was my first teaching job in China, I was assigned to teach Children between 10 and 13 of classes sized around 65 students. I would also use my own materials as this helped develop my experience more and the children were very interested in the culture of my Country.

September 2014 – August 2015 Yuyao Gaofeng High School

English teacher of students aged 15-18

As my second teaching job in China, I wanted to teach some older students to improve my experience, I taught students up to the age of 18 which was very interesting, their level of English allows for better in-depth conversations and this helps their English as well as allowing me to get a better understanding of what it means to be a teacher in China.

September 2015 – August 2016

My third job in China was again in a middle school, I appreciate the students excitement and enthusiasm in class and they have developed their English ability well over the past year.

Education and Qualifications

2010 -2013     Buckinghamshire New University

BA (Hons) Sport Management

Modules include: Advanced sport management, applied psychology, international commercial club management and research methods. Chairman of the Dodgeball society.

2008 -2010     Gateshead College

National Diploma in Sport Fitness, Development and Coaching; Triple Distinction.18 units covered including; Performance analysis, group dynamics and leadership.
