I have been lecturing for Edge Hill University at Chengdu Li Gong University for the past 6 years. Edge Hill Delivers a Business and Tourism Management program in collaboration with Chengdu Li Gong. The PGCIE course curriculum focuses on International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, transdisciplinary facets of educational philosophy, educational psychology, whole education, research on cognitive neuroscience, best pedagogic practices (including class-room management, differentiated instruction, student engagement, assessment for learning), leadership development and emerging technology in curriculum delivery. The unique feature of the programme is that it covers both theory (40%) and practice-teaching (60%) comprehensively. Thorough hands on experiential learning of IB curriculum is emphasized.
