This placement provides me opportunities to work with children   from year 7 up to year 13, supervising them at competitions such as   gymnastics, fitness and cricket, as well as regional events that promote   participation thus introducing new activities as a Cardiff games organiser.

Volunteered   at Ty Gwyn special needs school one day a week for 10 weeks, as part of my   volunteering module working with children with physical, mental and   behavioural needs. I challenged myself by learning to sign, ask closed   questions and aid visual learning. During a game of Boccia, I adapted the   activity using bigger balls and a tunnel to ensure inclusion for   participation.
