Career History
10/07/2017 – present
This temporary role involves teaching English to young people and children of different nationalities from around the world at summer school. My role is to plan lessons according to a dedicated course book. I then teach this lesson. I also attend staff meetings which are held once a week.
04/2012 - present:
Freelance English language tutor.
This role involves teaching students on both a group and one-to-one bases, English as a foreign language. This includes preparation of IELTS, both academic and general up to band seven. I have also taught general English, business English and, more recently, aviation English. I currently Freelance with global companies, working for Cartus, Directors Language, Global Business English (GBL), and Hengshui Language Centre.
02/13 – present Cover Supervisor
This peripatetic role is in the capacity of a ‘cover supervisor’, covering for teachers in their absence at various schools across the Tyne and Wear area. This role involves teaching according to a lesson plan left by the regular teacher covering a range of subjects according to the National Curriculum.
02/2011 - present Home School Tutor
This teaching role involves giving children extra-curricular lessons in their respective homes to support their learning abilities. The role accommodates for students with various learning styles, including children English and some maths.
