I created an academic curriculum and established a football club. In addition, I established a music class and participated by teaching the African drum as well as erected a reading room to enhance the reading ability of the students.

2016/10 – 2017/08 Teacher (English/ages 3-16 A+), Aston English School.

TEFL instructor  Teaching phonics sentence construction and speech fluency.Little Harvard kindergarten, Republic of China.

Contributed advance teaching techniques and training to teachers of China. I also attended a foreign teacher training course and foreign teacher management course. Every week I was responsible for the demo classes and contributing various creative ideas towards the curriculum.

2014/01 – 2016/09 Educator/Grade head/Head of Department grade 6 (English, EAL, FAL, physical education/grade 5-6 multi-cultural group/ages 11-13), Blue Downs primary school, South Africa.

I completed a first aid training course and was an active member of the schools governing body. As well as a member of the disciplinary committee (strategist) and created the scholar patrol in conjunction with the traffic department in aid of the safety of the learners. I was also responsible for many other committees.

2013/01 – 2014/12 Supply teacher (English, EAL, FAL, physical education/grade 5-6 multi-cultural group/ages 11-13), Blue Downs primary school, South Africa.

I was a substitute teacher and was assisted by the principal in daily training and guidance of the profession. I was also responsible for the playground duty roster to ensure the safety of the students during recess.  I was the organiser and coach of the school’s football team (different age groups and multi-cultural), which the school went on to achieve the district championship for four years.

2011/01 – 2011/06 Supply teacher (English and life orientation/grades 8-10 multicultural group/ages 14-16), Malibu Secondary school, South Africa.

This formed part of my practical at University. I assisted in the athletics committee of the school.
