About the School：

GATEWAY LANGUAGE VILLAGE. Our goal is to create a learning community characterized by cooperation, a spirit of service and mutual respect among learners, teachers and staff. At GLV, our students don't just study language but are given the total experience of living in a new language environment. Whichever language is being learned, we are immersed in that language through a combination of formal classes, informal study groups, social activities and evening programs. Even at meal times, during sports or leisure periods, all communication is in the target language.

GLV was established in 1998. It offers an intensive, immersion experience with classes and activities to adult (15 years and above). The main program is the full-time immersion courses from Monday through Friday 8:30am – 19:00pm. It runs session by session (2 weeks is one session). The classes range from formal textbook oriented sessions to informal discussion groups and leisure activities which covers communication and business English. We also provided part-time (evening and weekend) programs.

GLV is located in downtown of Zhuhai. We serve 20- 30 classes each term (two-weeks), To give the best quality of instruction our classes are kept small and limited to a maximum of 15 participants in the skills classes. Our staff and students come from many countries around the world and this multi-cultural mix enriches the experience for all.

We have more than 30 full time foreign teachers and more than 30 of Chinese academic employees now. 

Position Vacancies

Youth English Teacher (Seed Program)

Vacancy: 1 teacher

Starting Date: February, 2021


Responsibilities: Youth (4 to 17 years old) English teaching and tutoring, students‘ assessment, etc.

Working Schedule: 20-25 teaching hours and 2 days off per week. Possible teaching hours are 16:00 to 21:00 during the week and 08:00 to 20:00 on the weekends.


Class size: 5 to 12 in one class.


Office hour: Not required, no more than 8 hours per week for weekly meetings or trainings. (Usually 2 hours per week)

Requirement:

Nationality: Native English Speaking countries. British, American, Canadian, Australian, New Zealander, Irish, or great experiences and accent from South Africa.

Degree: BA and above. With youth English teaching experience.


Age: 20 to 35.


Contract: 1-3 years

Qualification: TEFL or TESOL or tutoring experiences.

Payment：

Salary: RMB16000-22000 per month, (before tax, including all)

Accommodation: Provide 1st month dorm for free if not in summer time.

Holidays: 16 paid holidays including public holidays.


Visa: Working visa, (must provide proper documents required)

Medical: Medical insurance and annual health check.


Travel Bonus: RMB9000 after every 12 months’ service.


Adult English Foreign Teacher (GLV Program)

Vacancy:2 teachers


Starting Date: All year around


Responsibilities: Communication English and business English, including assessment, demo classes, marketing activities, etc.

Working Schedule: 25 teaching hours per week. 2 days off per week.

Class size: Around 15 in one class.


Office hour: Not required, but weekly meetings or trainings are required. (Need to do Lesson Plan)

Requirement:

Nationality: native English Speaking countries. British, American, Canadian, Australian, New Zealander, Irish, or great experiences and accent from the South Africa.

Degree: BA and above. With communication English or business English experiences.

Age: 20 to 55.


Contract:1 to 3 years.


Qualification: TEFL or TESOL or at least 2 years related experiences.

Payment：

Salary: RMB18000-22000 per month, (before tax, including all)

Accommodation: Provide 1st month dorm for free if not in summer time.

Holidays: 15 paid holidays including public holidays.


Visa: Working visa, (must provide proper documents required)

Medical: Medical insurance and annual health check.

外教中介佣金和发放方式：

“每个外教的悬赏赏金为母语13000元整，非母语8000元整，外教到岗7日内支付50%给外教中介机构，外教到岗满30日付清余款”
注意：

外教三个月内因自身原因或外教中介方原因离职，需要免费换一名。
