May, 2015- Present   The Magic House St. Louis Children’s Museum- (St.   Louis, MO)

Visitor Service Department- Floor Manager- Prepare museum for opening and the day’s operation. Overseas staff in a variety of roles. Performing cash management procedures throughout the day. Report and assist in the upkeep and maintenance of exhibits.

Museum Teacher- Lead students on their guided field trip at The Magic House. Work with staff to provide an educational and engaging classroom program. Manage large groups while working with other teachers to utilize time and space in continually varying situations from late schools, special needs groups, and unexpected conditions.

2013- May, 2015                  The Magic House St. Louis Children’s Museum- (St. Louis, MO)

Various Roles Performed, not limited to:

Exhibit Consultant- Providing reference and practical information regarding the design and implementation of an upcoming exhibit focused on Chinese culture. Working with in-house staff (including Museum President) and outside researchers to ensure an engaging, accurate and culturally sensitive experience.

Museum Store Staff- Duties involved daily operations; including sales, customer relations, and daily restocking of merchandise. Other responsibilities included assisting with inventorying stock and directing/assisting outside merchandise sales representatives when store operations manager not present.

Museum Guide- Duties regularly included floor staff positions manning various exhibit spaces. This included visitor relations, cleaning duties, and working with children.

Museum Maintenance Team- Providing daily exhibit maintenance and repair when applicable. Assisting with the assembly and disassembly of traveling exhibits.

Assistant Manager- Responsibilities included working with children visiting the Easter Bunny, talking with customers about sale’s packages, sales and various on set duties. Performed opening and closing procedures. Various managerial duties. Fast pace environment, with an emphasis on a fun and happy experience.

Sale’s Associate/ Santa’s helper. Responsibilities included working with children visiting Santa, talking with customers about sale’s packages, sales and various on set duties. Fast pace environment, with an emphasis on a fun and happy experience.

2010 to 2012                Billy Goat Coffee (Laoshanyang Kafei Ding, Wenzhou China.)

Co-Owner/Founder of first café in Kunyang. Worked with property acquisition, construction, service/menu development. Duties included daily operation needs and specialty baking. Other duties included party planning, host services and distributor relations.    

2009 to 2012                Pingyang Quishi Shane English School (Wenzhou, China)

Senior Educator for the Kunyang branch school of Pingyang Quishi, an independent English instructional school. Taught children ages 3 to 14, various levels of English ability. Organized teaching materials and aided in new teacher training and program development.
